Acacia Preschool began its life in 1955 and later relocated to a large hall in a cricket pavilion in the south of England.
It provides a wide range of learning experiences, both indoors and outdoors, where children aged 2-5 years can be engaged, enthusiastic and curious about their surroundings to grow and develop into confident, resilient, and independent young learners, ready for their next stage in education.
Working closely with the Acacia Preschool team we created their new branding. The influence for the logo is taken from the Acacia tree and the lovely yellow round blossoms that flower on it. The shape of the trunk is of an ‘A’ to represent ‘Acacia Preschool’. The tree represents the preschool, the space and community, with the yellow blossoms representing the staff, children and parents who all come together at Acacia to play, learn and connect, the ‘A’ of the trunk is the support of all of this.
