Ove Arup Foundation

The Foundation honours the memory of engineer, designer and philosopher, Sir Ove Arup. By funding educational programmes and initiatives, the Foundation drives values of innovation and inclusive design, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and interdisciplinary collaboration as a catalyst in the development of new initiatives and research.

We were invited to redesign their existing branding and create a new website to showcase the diversity of work that the Foundation supports throughout the world. The website design seemed a perfect opportunity to use the concept of construction by animating the content of graphics, headings, text and imagery all sliding in to position within a grid when scrolling. To support this we used images of various materials related to structures introducing pages, creating texture and an abstract intrigue.
